I’m a Seattle-based Yoga Instructor (originally from India) on a mission to help others become the best version of themselves through the practice of Yoga. In 2008, I started practicing Yoga to become stronger, flexible, and manage stress and anxiety. I am inspired by how the practice of Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, and Mindfulness can help heal from inside and make us feel alive, present, and healthy. I seek to provide high-quality yoga and mindfulness practices to inspire people of all ages, shapes, and sizes through my channel and newsletters.
I completed my MBA in Cardiff, UK, and worked in Microsoft in my early career. In 2012, I moved to India to study Yoga Sciences and Consciousness from SVYASA (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Deemed University) where I completed MSc in Yoga therapy. Also, I got certified in 500 hr in Traditional Hatha from Yoga Chakra in Rishikesh (RYS) and have completed the following teacher training to master Yoga
Through my Indian Yoga Girl YouTube channel, I’ve been able to introduce Therapeutic Yoga to hundreds of people from across the globe. My approach is holistic, and I help bring all aspects of your being in harmony. I firmly believe that one size does not fit all. Yoga means Yuj or Yoke, which means connection to yourself and others. Through my personalized classes, I understand the unique thing going on in your body and customize Yoga practice for you to heal and become stronger both from inside and outside.
